of H.A. Timber Industries Ltd. - a company running from 1966 with

I am pleased to introduce HATIL’s first
Environment, Health & Safety Report (EHS) this year, which outlines
the various EHS initiatives implemented by our major business units.
This year we successfully expanded the scope of our EHS program to
include more detailed information to assist us in measuring our EHS
performance. In terms of our staff and also the public’s health and
safety, HATIL is now more focused particularly on Forest conservation,
Responsible Care initiatives and indoor air quality – in the workplace
and in our managed production units. During the year we organise a
variety of programmes to increase EHS awareness among our staff,
including an environmental conference focusing on climate change.
